The Story of the Owl and the Crows

The Story of the Owl and the Crows

the Owl and the Crows

Keyboarda is a magical forest surrounded by mighty mountains. Deep within this forest, there is a giant tree named Bemard. Bemard was home to a thousand crows, ruled by a king among them. Nearby, on a neighboring mountain, there was a large colony of owls, numbering a thousand, ruled by a powerful king.

The attack of the owl’s army on the crows

One night, a fierce animosity erupted between the owls and the crows. The owl king decided to launch an attack on the crows and seek revenge. A fierce battle ensued, with the owls using their strength to inflict significant injuries and losses on the crows. However, the crow king is unaware of this attack, and when he learns of it, he fills with sorrow. He said to his soldiers with anger, “Dear crows, you have seen the consequences of the owl’s attack on us. Their strength was overwhelming, and we were in danger of defeat. We must be cautious and not allow them to repeat this terrible scene.”

The meeting of the Crow king with his ministers.

In the Council of the Crows, there were five wise. The first wise king consults and the response is, “Success lies in knowing the strategies of owls. Let’s gather our forces, prepare our army, and monitor them with specialized scouts and spies. When they approach us, we will face them while being ready to fight. We will deal with them shrewdly, and take the right opportunity to win the battle

Then The king questioned the second wise advisor, who suggested caution, saying, “Avoiding our enemy might not be optimal. Instead, we should fortify our territories and prepare to confront the enemy. Let’s send spies to gather intelligence on them and learn about their intentions. We should avoid complacency and be ready to attack when they come near. We will prepare to defend ourselves with strength and seize any opportunity to achieve victory.”

Strategies for Confronting the Enemy

The king continued to consult the remaining advisors, and they offered various and wise ideas. The third wise advisor suggested, “Let’s keep our eyes, scouts, and vanguards between us and the enemy. Let’s see if they are interested in peace, paying tribute, or a truce. We will protect our lands and possessions. Peace and negotiation might be the best choice to maintain security.”

The fourth wise advisor stated, “I believe patience and readiness for confrontation are the best options. Let’s gather our forces and fortify our lands. When the enemy arrives, we will be prepared to confront them and defend ourselves with strength and determination.”

Deliberations of the King and His Advisors

The fifth wise advisor presented his opinion, centered around secrecy and keeping matters undisclosed. He said, “I concur with fellow advisors in readying to face the foe. However, we must keep the secret and preserve our confidential information.

The Wise Crow’s Words of Advice

After these consultations and hearing the opinions. the king decided to postpone making a decision until he could get the right guidance. He realized that he must continue researching and carefully pondering before taking his next step. Thus, the king decided to extract the optimal advice from his five experienced counselors.

The wise crow continued to speak about the deceitful owl kings. The adventures of the owl and the crow continued in an engaging story filled with wisdom and valuable lessons. The events would continue to evolve and change.

The wise crow urged the king that smart planning and management, not violence or haste, would lead to their goals.

He and his king plan to defeat the owl’s army

The wise crow and the king devised a plan to achieve victory over the owl armies. The plan started after Crow scouts learned of the Owl army’s impending attack.

Indeed, the owls attacked the crow’s homeland, but they did not find the crows in their usual place. They sensed crows missing, oblivious to the wise crow atop the tree. The wise crow started to groan and moan to draw the owl scouts’ attention to his location.

Fortunately, some owls heard the wise crow groaning and moaning and informed their king about it. The owl king rushed to the crow, inquiring about the fate of his crow companions.

The crow responded, “I am so-and-so, son of so-and-so, and I was not questioned about the crow’s affairs until now. You see my condition and what they did to me.” The Owl King declared this crow to be the adviser to the crow king, and the ravens accused him of a crime that prompted them to brutally punish him. The wise crow replied that the reason for what happened to him was his advice to the crow king to submit to the power of owls

The Fate of the Wise Crow

The owl king and his ministers listened to the crow’s story and debated his fate. One minister suggested that the crow should be killed immediately because he was one of the best crows and posed a threat to them. Exploiting and eliminating him might be the best choice. However, another minister objected, seeing that a lowly enemy with no sharp weapons should be pardoned and protected, as the crow might be useful in the future.

When the king asked the third minister about his opinion regarding the crow, the minister replied, “I see that we should pardon the crow and treat him kindly. He has proven to deserve forgiveness by confessing to the plans of the crow king and his army.”

Clash of Views

When the first minister who advocated killing the crow was given the opportunity to challenge the third minister’s opinion, he said, “You call for wasting time and displaying false tolerance.

This crow deceived you with his words and pleas, and you want to bypass the judgment of reason and be fooled by his statements.

King Owl and his ministers listened to all the opinions, and it was clear that the decision was not an easy one. What will King Owl decide regarding the fate of the wise crow?

King Owl’s decision regarding the injured crow:

Then King Owl decided to take the wounded crow to the place where the owls gathered, where his fate would be determined based on the recommendation of the ministers. The minister who suggested killing the crow said, “If this crow is not killed, his status will be that of a treacherous enemy whom we must beware of. The crow possesses cunning and deceit, capable of manipulating his circumstances to our disadvantage. He cannot trust, and he must eliminate.”

However, the king showed no reaction but instead increased his respect and honor for the crow. He listened to him and engaged in daily conversations with him. The crow began to talk to the king and his fellow crows more and more, gaining their trust. His words were admired and recognized.

One day, the crow decided to speak to a group of owls, including the owl who called for his death. He said to them, “Inform the king that I have been hurt by my own crow people, as you know and have witnessed. My heart can only find relief in seeking revenge.”

The owl who called for killing the crow interrupted and told him, You pretend to be honest, but you hide deceit and trickery within you. Evil and wickedness don’t change with appearances; no matter how hard you try to escape your evil nature, it will always be with you.” However, King Owl and the other owls did not pay attention to this saying and treated the crow kindly. They honored him even more until he healed, grew his feathers back, reconciled with his people, learned what he wanted to learn, and gained the information he sought.

Escape of the Crow from the Owl’s Kingdom:

In the end, the crafty crow outwitted the owl scouts and rejoined the crows. He briefed their king, saying, “I’ve gathered vital intel on owl positions, movements, and schemes. If you’re ready to crush the owl army, we have a plan.” The crow king and his flock agreed, “We’re with you.” The crow went on, “The owls are close by, near the river amid dense trees. They gather in a mountain cave by day. I’ve found a spot with dry wood. Let’s stockpile it in the cave. We’ll ignite the wood, stoking the flames fiercely. Whatever exits the cave will burn; the rest will suffocate in the smoke.” They executed the plan flawlessly, and the owl army was engulfed in flames. The crows returned to their realm unharmed

The Crows’ victory over the Owl army

King Crow responded, saying, “I am now certain that King Owl perished due to his ignorance, weak judgment, and leniency with his ministers. You have taught me valuable lessons, and I am grateful for the wisdom you shared with me. Let us work together for success, respect the virtuous, strengthen our vision, and achieve excellence in governing the nation.”

After the crows’ return and victory over the owl army, King Crow asked his wise advisor, “How were you able to coexist with the owls?”

The advisor replied, “My patience with what I endured sought this great benefit we achieved, thanks to the brilliance and wisdom of our leader. The task of vanquishing the enemy is so challenging, but the crow’s strategy in its conflict with King Owl proved its effectiveness. The power of cunning and trickery is more effective in defeating the enemy than the power of arrogance and violence.
